Looking for a computer to use for gaming or for other high intensity graphics? Look no further than the MSI GP60 2OD-052US. It is a powerful laptop that is suited for multi-tasking, video editing, and other hard core computer use.

This laptop is is powerhouse with a great CPU, the Intel Core i5-4200M. It was launched in Q2 2013 and is a fourth generation processor based on Haswell micro-architecture. It is a dual core processor built with 22nm lithography. Due to hyperthreading, the two cores can handle four threads in parallel. The clock speed is 2.5 GHz, but can increase as needed to 3.1 GHz through Turbo Boost. The display is a 15.6” HD screen with 1366 x 768 resolution. The graphics processor is the powerful NVIDIA GeForce GT740M with 2GB dedicated graphics memory. The laptop supports multi-screen Matrix Display. You can attach two additional independent displays for the ultimate in multi-tasking.

In addtion the the Graphics RAM, there are a whopping 8GB of DDR3 SDRAM. This is enough for efficient multi-tasking and rapid game playing.

This laptop is one of the few still available with Windows 7 Home Premium, the tried and true operating system. It has a SteelSeries premium gaming keyboard. The hard drive is immense, at 750 GB. For connectivity, there are four USB ports. Two are USB 3.0, which transfer data ten times faster than USB 2.0 ports. It has Bluetooth for wirelessly connecting peripherals. As far as connecting to a network, there is Giga LAN 10/100/1000 and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. The sound is exceptional, with four speakers and Sound Blaster Cinema. MSI also has Audio Boost, which enhances the sound output of your headphones for exceptional personal sound amplification.

The MSI GP60 2OD-052US is a gaming and high end graphics processing computer that won’t break the bank. It has exceptional graphics and sound, and comes with Windows 7.
